Obituary of Mildred Jane FARINA
Mildred Jane passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on February 20, 2021 at the age of 80.
Mildred was born in Milden, Saskatchewan on August 17, 1940 daughter of Jessie Mildred Anderson and Lawrence Henry Roux. Mildred was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzles, crosswords, playing bingo, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays and waving a racing flag cheering for Dale Earnhart SR. and JR.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Sonjia (Grant), Debbie (Hal), Russ (Tammy), Bonnie (Armand) and Kelly (Dianna); grandchildren, Adrian, Crystal, Dawn, Bryon, Calvin, Trevor, Justin, Tyler, Kristy, Kaycee, Kenny, Melissa, Dallas, Rodney, Cassandra, and Kody; great-grandchildren and the newest addition of a great-great-grandchild.
Mildred is also survived by her siblings, Lavern (Vernis), Viola (Liz), Merril and Larry (Patricia); as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
Mildred is predeceased by her son Rodney, parents, Jessie and Lawrence, and her brothers Wayne and Calvin.
A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Queen Park Cemetery on Friday March 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
