I'm so sad to be reading this today. How ironic I'd look up obituaries in Calgary. I hadn't heard from Laurie in some time and was curious why. I now know that the first year anniversary of her death was yesterday. I've many happy memories of Laurie going back 40 years. So many stories I could share. I loved Laurie and hope she's in peace. So sorry for your loss Linda.

We where so deeply saddened and shocked to hear the passing of Laurie. We extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this sad and difficult time. My condolences to Linda, Brian, Kevin and Willie. You are in my thoughts and prayers. All my memories of Laurie are good ones. Laurie was kind and caring and would help anyone she could. She had a heart of gold. She had a wonderful sense of humour and could always make me laugh. I will miss Laurie dearly as will all those she came into contact with. Carol Ferguson and family.
