Obituary of Balbir Singh Gosal

Sardar Balbir Singh Gosal, age 88 of Calgary, Alberta, Canada passed away on March 11th, 2021. Sardar Balbir Singh was born on November 8, 1932 in Ratanda, Punjab, India. He was the son of late Sardar Bachitar Singh Gosal and Sardarni Karam Kaur Gosal and the youngest of four siblings.

 

Sardar Balbir Singh married his wife, Sardarni Darshan Kaur Gosal in 1951 in Dhanda, Punjab, India. Together, with their sons, they immigrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1981. Over the years, they have taken great pride in watching their family grow. They have also had the privilege of traveling often and spending time with family abroad in England, Austrailia and India.

 

Sardar Balbir Singh was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather; he will be deeply missed by many. Sardar Balbir Singh leaves behind his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 

There is great solace is knowing that Sardar Balbir Singh will be reunited with his mother and father, his brothers and his daughter, Sardarni Balwinder Kaur Bhandol.

 

He will forever be in our hearts and prayers. Our wonderful and amazing Babaji.

 

A private family service will be held at Calgary Crematorium and Funeral Services, 3219 4th Street NW, Calgary AB T2M 3A6, on Wednesday March 17 at 2:00pm.
