This has been the hardest pain I had to process, Trying to find a healthy way to handle this pain. My grandma was always a comfortable, safe space. She had a look that she gave that said it all. She knew you could do and be a better person. She always made you feel special with all the love that she gave. I can't ever remember a time she was not there. Trying to make every moment the best that she could. My grandma was more than a grandma she was an angel, she touched so many lives in a beautiful way. She was so caring and loving so understanding and thoughtful. She was always there no matter what. She was the light at the end of a dark tunnel.
I wish I could have felt her warm hug one more time, hear her say how proud she was of us. The pain of wanting and needing the loving support she always gave. I miss her so much, my heart feels so broken. I'm still grieving the lost of her. I love you Grandma and miss you so much. You brought so much warmth and joy to mine and my family's life.

So grateful to have had her in my life and my children's. She was always such a kind loving soul, that was always there for you no matter what. Thankful everyday for the last few years spent in Calgary. We are going to miss all the visits and gatherings we had. I can say for certain she got me into the crafting world that I love so much. Getting me my first sewing machine one Christmas in Edmonton. She was always there to lend a hand with a recipe or when trying my hand at gardening. Always so resourceful and practical. I can hardly recall a minestrone in life that can't recall they weren't involved in. Family first was always the way things were with grandma. You will forever be in our memories.

Aunty Grace was a beautiful person with a huge heart full of love for everyone. Always had hugs no matter who you were and food was always an option in her huge kitchen at the farm with baked goods. even cleaning their barn was an interesting event because it meant the table would be full of all kinds of goodies. Didn't matter where they lived it was all about family friends and there get togethers. lots of memories at the lake when us kids went camping with grandma and granddad.... then the adults would all come later lol... so many stories about them good old younger days... with lots of love laughter and jokes.

To John and Family
Sorry for you loss. Grace was one of the kindest, caring and most genuine soul's one could have ever met. I would have loved to be her patient if I was ever in need. She loved her family and her garden. She was a farm girl with a big heart. I remember going to her wedding when she married cousin John. Probably one of the last times our families were together when my dad was alive. I can remember how happy my dad was when she had a boy as dad only had girls. Dad was much more forgiving once a Weathered male came on the scene. Thanks you John for being a wonderful husband and my heart goes out to you all. Jean Weathered McFarland

Grace always had a smile no matter what the occasion. Her family were very important to her. I remember visiting the family farm in Marcelin she was always busy, preparing a meal, entertaining grandchildren. She loved her garden, Grace could grow anything she wanted to. Rest In Peace, Grace. Your Memory lives on.

Grace, was a lady with a beautiful smile. In my eye she was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, great grandmother. All her off spring meant the world to her. John picked the best Prairie Rose. Grace loved her garden also I remember her talking about horseback riding and playing baseball with no glove, barehands and she loved it. Many years of nursing, traveling. She did a lot in her life and enjoyed it all. We will remember all the memories Rest In Peace.
