Obituary of Lily OWRE

Lily Owre passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on April 19, 2014 at the age of 93 years.
Lily was born in Bavaria, Germany but lived most of her life in Calgary, Alberta, where she and Ernest started a family together and enjoyed 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2001. Lily dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be dearly missed by her two grandchildren Stephanie Berube and Chad Owre; and two great-grandchildren Chelsea and Nicolas Berube. She will also be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Elaine Owre, as well as neighbours, family and friends. We will all miss her huge heart, loving smile and her delicious baking.
She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Owre, and son Gordon Owre.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will follow at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL at 2:00 p.m. Please join us in remembering the life of an amazing woman, who lived a long and happy life and touched the hearts of many. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
