Please share a memory of Balbinder to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With great sadness, the family of Balbinder (Babli) Sekhon announces her passing away in her battle against cancer on April 20. Babli was known for her caring nature, frequent acts of kindness, delicious cooking, and love of flowers. She had a positive impact on so many lives through her friends, family, work and volunteering. Babli made a happy welcoming home in Calgary for 33 years and delighted in helping others do the same through her work as a realtor. She is survived by her husband Param; children Jasleen and Yashvir; her four siblings; her mother; extended family and circle of friends by whom she was deeply loved. The Funeral Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. followed by Prayers and lunch at the Guru Nanak Sikh Centre Gurdwara on Old Banff Coach Road and 81st Street S.W. Babli's family would like to thank all the friends and family that provided support and comfort over the past three months, and also the staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre who always did their best for Babli.
