Obituary of Del CAMPBELL

Please share a memory of Del to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Del announce his sudden passing on June 7, 2021 at the age of 65 years.

Del was born and spent his early childhood years in Medicine Hat moving to Calgary when he was 9 years old. Del had many professions during his working life including a Journeymen Auto Body Mechanic and Painter, Long Haul Truck Driver and for the past 20 plus years was the owner of and artist at Impact Body Art, a tattooing and piercing business.

Del loved life and had a passion for riding his motorcycle, golfing, fishing and hunting. Del threw himself 150 percent into any new pursuit or activity he undertook. Del took up golf late in life quickly surpassing the skill level of many who have golfed most of their lives. He also self-taught and became certified in gunsmithing and golf club making.

His unusual character, gentle spirit and limitless kindness will live on in the hearts of all those blessed by his presence in their lives.

He is survived by his children Nicky and Jennifer (Dan); granddaughters Shalacia and Katrina; great granddaughter Victoria; sisters Donna and Dawn (Joe) and brother Darcy (Suzanne) all of Calgary. He is also survived by a niece, numerous nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Del was predeceased by his father Delmar Campbell in 1961 and his mother Margaret Fitzhenry in 2011.

Rest in peace Del. We will miss you, until we meet again.

A memorial celebrating Del’s life will be held at a later date.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Kamp Kiwanis (www.kampkiwanis.ca) which Del was an avid supporter of.
