Deepest sympathies to the family of Dipendra Shrestha,
I worked with Dipendra at the Calgary Catholic School District - in central office accounting department. He was the kindest and most gentle man. He cherished his family and his eyes would light up when talking about them. He was probably the most proud father I have ever known. While his stay at Calgary Catholic was limited - it was a temporary position - he was a very cheerful and warm presence in the office throughout his time with us. I had stayed friends on facebook and watched his family events and milestones - he revered his family and friends. He had been involved in the Ride to Conquer Cancer - I was hoping to join his team as we shared an enthusiasm for cycling, then Covid put that on hiatus. I was deeply saddened when I heard of his passing this morning. The world has lost a very bright light.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. He was a great man and wonderful teacher. I am not really good in numbers but because of him I learned a lot in Accounting and I AM THANKFUL because I believe that this will help me strive to become a better person. Our deepest condolences to Rama, Roan and family. We've been long time neighbours but the last year we've had a chance to have more backyard chats about daycare, occupations and camping. My fondest memory of Dipendra was this summer, when on many occasions I would see him and Roan grab a treat from the ice team truck. He will be remembered as a very kind and good dad. Our deepest sympathy.

Our hearts are broken for Rama, Roan and family. Dipendra will always be remembered for his sunny smile and his deep love for his family. You should have seen the light beaming from his face when his son was born! Living next door we spent a lot of our time visiting outdoor while we worked and played in our yards. One of my most cherished memories is teaching Dipendra and his son how to make their first ever snowman. Please let me know what I can do to help in this dark time.
