I am sending condolences on behalf of brother Donald's three children: Robyn Grant and Lesley Woodley.
We have some fond memories of the entire Grafton clan over the years of oudr childhood, particulary my older brother and me.
Lesley was only 6 when Dad passed so she has little memory at all of this family connection.
I am grateful to have a longstanding relationship with Aunt Marian although I have only seen her infrequently over the years due to the distance. I have fond memories of our last few visits and our lively conversation. One time I had a hard time keeping up with Aunt Marian as she walked me to the bus stop after visiting her one trip to Calgary. I admired how spritely she was even in 2016, not that long ago, despite having just had a tumble off a ladder while rehanging her washed curtains from a stepstool. She and Uncle Tom were dear folks and we enjoyed family Christmas celebrations over our early childhood years. She lived a good long life and always spoke to me so fondly of her children and grandchilden and later great grandchildren of whom she could proudly recite all their names and occupations and endeavours right up well into her 90s. I will miss her and send all her family our heartfelt wishes for this time of loss and grieving. I envisoin her finding her well deserved rest now.
