Obituary of Ralph Daniel Adams

Ralph Adams passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 91, following a brief battle with aspiration pneumonia, and a longer battle with dementia.

 

Born on June 12, 1930, Ralph spent 60 years working as an electrical engineer, and 65 years married to his wife Kay, who passed in June 2015.

 

He is survived by his four children Gregory, Colin, Jeffrey, and Susan; his six grandchildren, Sonya, Mark, Paul, Kristen, Caitlyn, and Blake ; and his great-grandchild Maia.

 

Ralph received exceptional care from the staff at the Foothills Hospital and the Brentwood Care Centre, who ensured his passing was peaceful, and the years preceding it were comfortable and social.

 

Ralph was happiest when he was busy with a project and is no doubt eager to get back on his feet and dancing wherever he is now. He will be missed for his sense of humour and the steadfast support he lent those around him.

 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, once it can be held safely, without putting further strain on our healthcare system.
