Esther McIntosh posted a condolence

Helen and Lawrence first became acquainted with my husband and I when we bought houses next door to each other in Bowness. Both families had plans to enlarge the homes that they had bought to accomodate increasing families. It was not long before we became 'over the fence' neighbours and lifelong friends sharing hopes for the future. Our children grew up playing and sharing interesting times together.
Through the years we have kept in touch even after Helen and Lawrence moved out of Bowness.
I was greatly saddened when I read that Helen had died. Good friends are hard to find. She will be missed.
I would love to give each of the girls a hug in remembrance of the hugs you will miss from your mom.
Esther McIntosh.
Karen and Brian each add thier condolences to the family.

We were saddened to see the news of Helen's passing and pass our condolences on to all of her family members.
A memory of Helen is that she was our realtor in 1983. My wife and I had been married about 7 or 8 months and decided that neither of the homes that we had brought into the marriage were right and we wanted to find "our" home. It turned out that our views of what the perfect home was were quite different and after a period of searching we stopped the search. About 2 weeks later, we got a phone call from Helen saying that she knew we had stopped looking but she thought she had found just the right house for us. We went and looked at it and both immediately fell in love with it and remain in that house to this day. Helen's intuition was the catalyst in making that happen and we have thought of her fondly many times through the years. You have probably heard many ways that she made a difference and this is another to add to the list.
May these memories give you comfort, love from Bob and Rosemary Nogue

Thinking of you. Aunt Helen was a kind and generous lady. She will be missed and fondly remembered with a smile.
I have lots of good memories of time spent with Aunt Helen and Uncle Lawrence and your family. I remember an Easter egg hunt at your home in Calgary. The four of us joined the girls to find 100 eggs cleverly hidden throughout the house. It was a lot of fun.
May your memories comfort you.

Our sincere sympathies on the passing of Aunt Helen.
She was a strong, kind and generous person. I will always be thankful to Aunt Helen and Uncle Lawrence inviting me into their home when I first moved from Edmonton.
I found an old photo of Aunt Helen and all her siblings that I would like to share .

Dear family members of Helen,
Our heartfelt condolences to the family and all other who knew her.
We have known Helen a long time, even when she was still in the Prince of Peace Manor.
Corry and I, Ronald, were the Eucharistic Ministers from the Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Chestermere, who brought communion once a week to the Catholic Residents in the Manor and Harbour.
She will be always in our prayers and definitely in our hearts.
