Obituary of Haley Cyr
Haley Trina Cyr of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at the age of 55 years.
Haley was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 6, 1966.
She moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2018.
Haley graduated from the Gabriel Dumont Institute with a degree in Home Care.
Haley had a passion for home renovation and talked about buying and renovating her own place some day. She watched the HGTV channel and loved to talk about all her ideas that she would do if she had the opportunity to do home renovations. She enjoyed spending a lot of time with her grandkids which took up most of her time.
Haley’s most memorable vacation was when she went to Mexico with her aunt. She talked about it a lot throughout the years and encouraged her children to travel too.
She will be most remembered for her easy-going personality and loving nature. She cared for everyone she met and easily made anyone feel at ease around her. She was shy at first but was very kind and humorous when she opened up.
She was hard working and always lent a helping hand whenever possible for her family and friends. She made everyone feel accepted and loved with no judgement or criticism. She was an amazing woman all around and will be dearly missed every day.
Haley is survived by her daughter Rebecca, of Calgary, AB, son Alexander, of Regina, SK; eight grandchildren, Amira, Dominic, Ariel, Miles, Ellise, Gabriel, Xaidan, and Azalea. As well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Haley was predeceased by her son Joel Cyr, father Conrad Gordon, and mother, Maureen Cyr.
Public Visitation will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street NW, (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.
Those attending will be asked to confirm one of the following, (A) COVID vaccination (date requested), OR (B) a negative COVID test (within 72 hours), OR (C) Medical exemption AND valid government identification (with name & date of birth) OR (D) Under 12 years of age.
