Obituary of Helen Chandler

Helen Chandler, of Didsbury, AB, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the age of 95 years.

 

It breaks my heart to announce the death of Helen Chandler, my Grammie; She was the light and sunshine that guided me through life; she was my person.

 

Helen is survived by her five children, Rick (Marilyn), Doug, Susan (Richard), Michael (Sherry) and Karen (Rory), nine grandchildren; Laura (Troy), Julia, Ryan (Sanela), Tyler, Kendra (Miranda), Colin (Sarah), Alena (Tony), Alyssa (Zach) and Corey, and four great-grandchildren; Keenan, Mason, Jayson and Oliver. As well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Helen is also survived by numerous friends and family throughout Alberta and Ontario.

 

She is predeceased by all six of her siblings; may she reunite with Alec, George, Bill, Johnny, Rosie and Mary. The party wouldn’t be complete without her friends from the “Short Street Gang; “June, Isabel, Kay {Katie}, Lorraine, Theresa, Rose, Violet and Sophie). May they all celebrate family, friends and fun times. Life is dull with out you in it; I miss you as much as I love you, with every ounce of my being.
