Obituary of Carolyn Pauline Farago

Carolyn Farago of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the age of 52 years, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her friends Ken, Mary, and Darlene.

 

Carolyn was born in Lethbridge, AB, on August 5, 1969. She grew up on her parents’ farm and attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to study business. After her studies, she worked at Eatons, Sears, Winners, Diabetes of Canada, and Swarovski, as a retail manager and management consultant. Carolyn’s zest for life was simple: Love and Laughter, Always. Despite her cancer, she always had a smile and cheery outlook for all the people in her life. Her demeanour brought out the happiness in all of her friends.

 

Carolyn will be sadly missed by Ken Pon, long-time friends, Mary, Ruth, and Brandi; and many others who shared special bonds with her. She is also survived by her mother Mary, and her two sisters and their partners, Connie and Robert, and Doreen and Atty. Carolyn was predeceased by her father Richard.
