Donald, Barbara and Families,
It was great sadness that we read about Betty's passing.
Betty and our mother, Nina (Carloni) Valerio were best friends when they were young.
Betty was our mom's maid of honor at her wedding to our father Tony.
Our families paths crossed many times in our lives. Mary, Betty's mom, lived in Bridgeland with Dawn.
Throughout our younger years Dawn and I spent a lot of time together.
We last saw Betty and Hugh at our parents 60th Anniversary party.
I am attaching a photo of the two most beautiful ladies dancing together at the party in 2009.
Even with both of their memories fading, they remembered each other. Some memories are forever.
We hope that your memories of your mother will carry you through the difficult times.
