It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Bharati Verma, beloved wife of Ambika Verma, in Calgary on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the age of 64 years.
Bharati was a long time cancer survivor. She was involved in the arts and was an accomplished poet and painter.
Bharati is survived her husband, Ambika; daughters Aparna and Shibanee; two brothers and one sister; and granddaughters Sajan and Sitara.
She was predeceased by her parents, Girija Prasad and Champa Devi; one brother and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
