Obituary of George Otto Sudar

 

 

 

George Sudar passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the age of 86 years.

 

George was born in Pecs, Hungary and he immigrated to Canada in 1958. George found work with the CPR before moving to Sovereign Casting where he worked for over forty years.

 

It wasn’t long after moving to Canada that George met his wife of almost fifty years, Janet Sudar (nee Oliphant).  George and Janet loved living close to the mountains where they raised their three children and shared their love for camping and the outdoors.

 

George is survived by son, George W Sudar and daughter-in-law, Adele Higgins-Sudar, son, Michael Sudar, daughter, Nora Shingoose-Sudar, and son-in-law Kim Shingoose; six grandchildren, Shianne Sudar, Jordan Sudar, Nicole Sudar, Tiffany Kennedy, Michelle (Matthew) Lloyd, and Dakota Cree and brother Ted Sudar. George is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and friends.

 

George was predeceased by spouse, Janet Lee Sudar (nee Oliphant),
