Obituary of Rose Brunton

On the morning of Sunday, May 29, 2022, Rose Brunton passed peacefully away in her sleep at the age of 95 years.
Rose was born to Dick and Kalyna Myckalyk and had two sisters and seven brothers. She is survived by her three children, Carolyn, William, and Kevin Brunton, and three brothers, Alec, John, and Richard. Rose was fortunate to spend her winters in sunny Mesa, Arizona, since 1993 and was actively involved in lawn bowling, stained glass work, wood carving, hiking, and many other activities. She was proud to have represented Canada in the Canadian National Lawn Bowling team when competing with other countries in South Africa. During the summer months in Calgary, AB, she was an avid golfer at the Earl Grey Golf & Country Club.
To those who knew Rose, she was exuberant, gracious, kind, and caring with a wonderful sense of humour. She will be missed dearly and the good times we shared with her will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace our dear mother.
