Bob Smith of Calgary, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the age of 91. Bob served with the RCAF in WWII from 1941-1945. In 1946 he began a 38 year career with AGT. Bob is survived by his daughter Sandra, step-daughters Louise and Leslie(Rick); seven grandchildren: Trina, Kent, Melissa, Brittany, Scott, Lisa, and Suzanne; six great grandchildren; his sister Mary Plumer, sisters-in-law Pat Lyster and Eva Rattray as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, son Robert and his beloved wife Kathleen(Kay) in 2010. A private Family Graveside Service will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the Staff of the Carewest Colonel Belcher Long Term Care, as well as extend a heartfelt thank you to Barrie Griffiths for not only volunteering to choose and deliver books on tape to Bob for several years, but also taking the time to stop to visit with him.
