1933-2022 but its that little dash in between that is our lives. Here is a little bit of her dash!
I've known Margo my whole life. She grew up next door to my Grandparents, the Whitlocks on 21st Ave across from the Shamrock. She was 7 years younger than my beautiful Mom but they were friends for life!
She danced with Arthur Murray studios in Calgary and eventually moved to Miami, wow, and danced there to. Although she had beautiful red hair, I never once saw a temper. Very Cool Lady
She took us to the Husky Tower in 1967 for Moms birthday dinner. Very special indeed. We went to her graduation at the U of C in 1976, where she had grad with My Uncle. A party ensued and there was a grad hat cake-mmm so good. We spent time at her home in Scenic Acres and the Odyssey Tower apartment in Coach hill-what a view.
She was a member of Pinebrook golf course, she loved photograhy and bought me a camera, taught me to tie dye, we spent birthdays, Christmas dinners and she travelled to Alaska in 1990 with Mom, her parents and 6 other native Calgarians. She recently told me she had been on so many cruises she couldn't recall them all! Her and Mom also flew to Vancouver to see Frank Sinatra. Oh and she was good at picking out the winners at the thoroughbreds at Stampede park grandstand-fun times indeed.
On July 2nd I was so glad to find you and hold your hand one last time. I will think of you fondly-bye for now, love your friend, Kathee
