July 7, 1931 – August 8, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dixie Simr. Born in London, Ontario July 7, 1931, Dixie eventually moved to Montreal for her formulative years and then on to Ottawa where she married the love of her life Celestin Simr. They then travelled west where they raised their two children, Peter, and Gayle.
Dixie was predeceased by her husband Celestin John Simr. She is survived by her loving children, Peter Simr, and Gayle Rothe (Klaus); her grandchildren; Brodie Rothe (Tess), Brittney Simr, and Kayla Rothe (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Anders, and Collins Rothe.
Dixie/Mom/Grandma, we miss you. You are in our hearts forever.
