Bruce Schofield passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 4th, 2022, at the age of 58 years.
Bruce touched everyone he met; he was hardworking and had a passion for cooking, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and gardening. Most of all he loved to share his survival skills, with Dani girl, during their yearly winter survival camping trips in Saddle Hills, AB.
Bruce leaves behind his loving wife Meriana (nee Kuhitc) Schofield, son Nick (Karla) Metchooyeah; granddaughters, Avery, Paige, and Madison. Bruce also leaves behind a large loving family; his sisters, Wanda (Stanley) Viner (Waterville, NS), Linda (Maurice) Bezanson (Aylesford, NS), brother-in-law Frank (Natalie) Kuhtic (Carstairs, AB); brothers, Brian (Sheri) Dill (Edmonton, AB), Trevor (Laurie) Dill (Edmonton, AB), along with nephews, Jason & Devin Viner (Waterville, NS), Darren Coleman(NS), Owen and Lucas Kuhtic (Carstairs, AB), nieces, Selena (Jordan) Ellis (PEI), Jelena Kuhtic (Carstairs, AB); great-nephews, Tripp Viner, Andrew Ellis, great-nieces Taya Viner, Callie Ellis. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Bruce was predeceased by his infant daughter Evalena, parents, Keith Schofield and Joan Rafuse, brother Cecil and numerous others. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
A celebration of life will be held at later date and Bruce’s cremated remains will be placed with his infant daughter in Calgary, AB. Please contact Meriana Kuhtic-Schofield at mimiks22@hotmail.com for details and a portion of Bruce's cremated remains will also be sent home.
