No parent should have to suffer the anguish of losing their child. My heart broke into pieces when I learned of Matt's passing. It has been many years since I had the pleasure of being in Matt's life where I had the profound privilege of experiencing his zest for life and watching his passion for music unfold. Four days after Matt's passing, I dedicated my night of singing to this young man who has been woven into the tapestry of my life, touched my heart and will no doubt be greatly and sorrowfully missed by his friends and family.
Cathy, a mothers love is deep and eternal. You have been on my heart and will be in my prayers as you navigate through this profoundly sad time. My thoughts and sincere prayers are also for Mike, Tyler and the rest of your family during this time of grief.
May the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts.
