Obituary of Melanie Dawn Halle

Melanie Halle “Mims” of Calgary Alberta passed away peacefully at home Aug 30 2022 after complications from a long illness at age 44 yrs. old.

 

I was blessed beyond imagination with the two most loving, devoted and compassionate parents anyone could wish for. My Father, Robert passed in 2009 followed by my Mother, Margaret in 2016. I lost my beloved cat Peanut in 2014 after 12 years of joy and adventures together.

 

I had a childhood of wonderful memories and especially relished camping with my family. In adulthood, I enjoyed as much travel as possible including trips to England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and numerous cruises. It’s safe to say I inherited my love for travel from my Mother.

 

I am Forever grateful to my guardian angel and dearest Friend Bernard for his constant, unconditional care, love support and thoughtfulness (even helping me choose a meaningful photo for this obituary.) And to his family who became my own, always welcoming me with love as one of their own into their lives. Zabeth, Bernie (Sandy) and their children Jason (Pam) Jeaninne (John) and Marc (Melanie)

 

I was also blessed by the most beautiful, strong, and loving friends especially Missey, Lyn and Rich that I have gained on my journey. Thank you for honouring me with your love and friendship.
