I am so grateful to Nora for providing me with her daughter Lyn as my best friend from the age of 3 years to the present. So many of my childhood memories are wrapped around the kitchen at the house where she and Bud lived. Real homemade donuts, divinity fudge, taffy,...the list goes on forever. Not to mention the Sunday drives, the trips to Sylvan and Peace River, and Nora's care and concern and worry over my pale complexion. Then there was the excitement over what new toy or sensational presents would be coming to Lyn and me when Bud and Nora returned from their yearly trip to the States! I continue to have great respect for Nora and her talent, generosity, and bright mind. It has been a privilege to know her for 65 years. My mom, Fern, will miss her good friend and sends her condolences to the family as well. Marilyn Haag
