Nettie passed away peacefully on June 21, 2014 at Bow View Manor with family at her side, at the age of 94 years.
Nettie emigrated from Scotland to Calgary in 1920.
She is survived by four children, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Nettie was predeceased by her husband Jim, seven siblings, two daughters, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
She was a member of the Bowness Legion Ladies Auxilliary for 47 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the The Royal Canadian Legion (Bowness Branch #238), 138 Bowness Centre NW on Saturday, June 28 at 3:00 pm.
