Obituary of Cliff Willmott

Sadly, Cliff passed away on November 25, 2022.  Leaving to mourn his loss are his sisters, Joyce Wright of Airdrie AB, and Dr. Lois Baker of Burnaby BC, and their families, stepchildren, Carol Schreiber of Cochrane AB, Ron and Kevin Mort of Calgary, AB, and their families.

 

He was predeceased by his wife Gwen, his mother Edith Willmott, father Clifford Menzies Willmott, and his sister Sylvia Willmott.

Cliff was born in Calgary and lived here all his life.  For thirty-five years he was a Calgary Transit Operator.  He was an avid bowler and enjoyed target shooting.  He also took a keen interest in collecting stamps. Cliff and Gwen belonged to the Forest Lawn Church, their Seniors Club, and Lions Club, where they had many friends. They were tireless square dancers.

 

A Celebration of life for Cliff will be held at the Forest Lawn United Church (2236 35 St SE, Calgary, AB) on December 28, 2022 at 11:00 am. Condolences can be sent to the Calgary Crematorium Chapel at wwwcalgarycrematorium.com.
