I met Gladys a few years ago as we both lived at the Varsity Manor. We usually had breakfast together each morning and told each other stories about our families, our past and our future happiness.
Gladys was one of a kind and the most caring and kind lady I had known for years. Although she was basically confined to a motorized scooter and had a few health issues, she was never one to complain about anything. She was a positive influence for many of us in the Manor was quick to point out just how lucky we were to have a good life while perhaps suffering from failing health as we aged.
I consider a dear friend who made my life better and gave me hope and appreciation for where I was and what I had. I sympathize with her family in their loss but I am sure Gladys will be our guardian angel to watch over us and guide us in our future. May she Rest in Peace.
