Obituary of Agnes Louise Thomas

 

October 9, 1928 - Shamrock, Saskatchewan

December 6, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

 

Agnes Thomas passed away after a short illness at the Agape Hospice on December 6, 2022 at the age of 94 years. Agnes was born in Shamrock, SK on October 9, 1928.

 

Agnes is survived by her husband of 71 years Jim and sons, Wayne and Jim (Kim). She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Heather in 1991. Agnes also had four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who she cherished and was so proud of.

 

Agnes enjoyed curling, knitting, crocheting and gardening. She was ever the eternal optimist and never gave up on her Toronto Blue Jays. In her later years, she enjoyed watching the deer and foxes on their acerage out by Caroline.

 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to AHS homecare, Palliative Care, and the Salvation Army Agape Hopsice nurses and doctors. Their caring and nurturing not only got Agnes through this difficult time but her family as well.
