Heartfelt condolences to all Gary’s family - Gary was a special one-of-a-kind character - a combination of his mom & dad - those Lorimers had the biggest hearts & shared them generously. My dad (Bob Lorimer) was so very fond of “Jim’s boys”!

Our sincere sympathy to Joni, Cathi, Trudi and all the family I have so many memories of Gary to many to mention here. He was my brother in-law but more like a brother. When he first came to the farm to date Dot us kids were amazed at how much he ate. Mounds of mashed potatoes and he loved Mabel’s pie. He drove a shiny black 47 Chevy his pride & Joy. When Mabel’s turkeys climbed all over it he wasn’t too happy. I was fortunate to live with Dot & Gary for many years when I went to high school in Calgary. Always fun and it felt like home. We always enjoyed his company at all the family functions. He was always interested in what we were up to and always asked about our kids and grandkids. We were so fortunate to have in our lives and will dearly miss him.

We wish to send our sincerest condolences to the family of Gary. Gary was a great uncle and I was fortunate to spend many summer holidays with them. That is where I was able to water ski and Gary loved to drive the boat fast. I recall one summer in Idaho as a teenager when I was waterskiing behind the boat, fell and lost my bathing suit. Gary thought that was so funny (not for a shy teenager though). Lots of fun always. Gary also had a sweet tooth and I remember going for lunch once with him & he only ordered dessert.
