Gloria Elizabeth Bailey (nee Donnelly) beloved wife of James Adrian Bailey passed away at home on June 28, 2014 at the age of 60 years.
Born July 8, 1953 in Kapuskasing, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Marcelle Bernadette Grenier and Vernon Joseph Donnelly.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Adrian Bailey; a son, Timothy James Bailey, a daughter Leah Meghann Schmidt (Darrel); three beautiful grandchildren, Peyton, Luke and Brandon; a sister, Kathleen Estelle Donnelly and two brothers, James Gordon Donnelly and the late Daniel Vernon Donnelly.
God has taken back one of his angels. Gloria was light and love. She loved being around nature and renovating antiques to look beautiful once again. She shared moments looking for fairies with her grandchildren and she made the best raspberry jam. Gloria has made many close friendships in her life and valued everyone for who they were; she embraced life, played joyfully and smiled sincerely.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00p.m.
