Obituary of Kenneth Norman Willing

Kenneth Willing of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 89 years.

 

He was born in Castor, AB, and raised in Forestburg, where he played defenseman on the town hockey team. It was a sport Ken loved and followed all his life. His family includes, brother Wilfred (Loreen), and sister Lorna (Walter). He worked many years as a landman for Imperial Oil and enjoyed early retirement. After retirement he took up making jam, creating beautiful stained-glass windows, and spending lots of time with family.

 

Ken was predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Irene, and his sister Lorna. Ken is survived by his children, Laura (Jean), and Jeffery (Pamela); and grandchildren, Graham, Katie (Scot), Nicole, and Amanda.

 

He was much loved and will be missed. A Private Family interment will take place in the spring.
