Geoff and I met in July of 1984, on my first day at Rockyview Hospital. From that day on, Geoff became a dear friend, and a kindred spirit. In all the decades I was his friend, I can think of two times when he made me sad; when he retired, and when he passed away. The world won't be the same without you in it, Geoff.

To everyone who loved Geoff, our condolences for his loss. Geoff was "Pops" to me. He would crack me up and later my husband when he'd call to sing us happy birthday every year. It was always so embellished and hilarious and resulted in massive laughter, which I'm sure was the goal. His visits out to the coast with Elaine were always fun filled. We'd have great visits, awesome meals and time on the beach- always with a caveat of not going in the ocean for him- he was sure a shark would get him. Geoff always had a smile and kind word for anyone he came across. We will miss our visits and his goofy sense of humour but we will always cherish the memories, which are forever. Jodi & Ronnie
