I am fortunate to have a beautiful Rick Crump foothills painting in my home office in Virginia. I met Rick at Gainsborough one Saturday when I was living in Calgary and he agreed to a commission painting which makes it more special. I am sure Rick will continue to be part of many lives thru his art. Sincere condolences to the family and friends.

I want express my deepest sympathy to Dawn and family. Rick was one of the first people I met at my first job at AECL in Pinawa, Manitoba. He showed extreme kindness and welcomed me at the plant. We became good friends and did some good fishing together. May his memory be eternal.

I first met Rick when we both worked at Canadian Hunter Exploration. To my good fortune, we also ended up working together again at PrimeWest Energy, and subsequently TAQA. As it was, I had lots of opportunity to tease Rick about him being a bit of a conundrum: a “nuts and bolts” facility engineering guy, yet possessing such an artistic talent; however that diversity was just one of the reasons that I thought made him special. He was one of the good guys, full of common sense, “the guy” to go to when you had a Facility question. My sincere condolences to his wife Dawn and all of his Family. John D'Eath
