Dear memories of our beloved Tante Pep: #1 1963. Pep preparing the barbecue for her children and her father- and mother-in-law (Ad and Bets van der Voet). #2 Regular visits to the Netherlands in the Sixties and Seventies. Feasting with the Van der Voet and Schenk families in Schiedam. #3 Enjoying the 1974 Calgary Stampede with visiting relatives from the Netherlands. Pep, Paul, Dick de Jager, Gijs, Frank. The De Jager family always found a warm welcome in Calgary. #4 Visit of Rob and Elise 1996. Goodbye diner at Teatro Restaurant. Frank, AliceAn and family We are so sorry for your loss. We remember your stories of Peppi and could see how loved she was. We sometimes saw Peppi and Gus at Kensington Symphonia and other concerts and were always struck by what a classy looking couple they were. Not only that, they were consistently warm, friendly and happy to have a chat. Our sincere condolences. Love Dave and Sue

Dear Frank, Is it really 20 years ago that we last visited and met up with your mother and father to celebrate their 80th birthdays? The distance between Canada and Europe has always been big, but emotionally we always felt close to you all. Your mother, “tante Pep” for us, was so important to make us feel at home. We remember with joy all the visits she made to us in the Netherlands and all the visits we made to Canada. I specifically remember all the “boterhammen pindakaas” that she prepared during our trip to BC in 1977. On that last visit that I made with my mother she presented both of us with a beautiful painting made by her showing the Glenmore reservoir. It has been decorating our living room in Bennekom ever since, so we will remember her. We wish you, AliceAn and the children and further family all the best in these difficult days.
