Tarsem Rai beloved wife of Lashkar Rai of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the age of 79 years.
Tarsem was born in Simbal Mazara, Punjab on June 7, 1943.
She immigrated to Canada in November 1996.
Tarsem married Lashkar Rai on December 25, 1962.
She will be most remembered for her kindness and compassion.
Besides her loving husband, Tarsem is survived by her two daughters, and two sons-in-law, Satwant Dehal, and Lakhvir Dehal ,Calgary, AB, and Kulvir Kang, and Mukhtiar Kang, Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her son Manjit Rai, Calgary, AB; four grandchildren, Ravneet Dehal, Gurvir Dehal, Arpanjot Kang, and Prabhjot Rai.
Funeral Services will be held at Calgary Crematorium Chapel, (3219 – 4th Street NW, within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday April 16, 2023 at start time 1:00pm. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
