Obituary of Drew Erickson

Drew Erickson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 just 4 days before his 68th birthday. Drew was born September 14, 1946 in Calgary, but spent much of his childhood on a farm near Claresholm, Alberta. He often reminisced about his youth, and love for horses. He married Joyce Liversuch on July 24, 1965 making their home in Calgary. Drew brought laughter and smiles to everyone he met. He was a devoted father, husband and friend. Drew believed in hard work, and spent his life in a variety of occupations. His interests included watching old western movies, driving in the country and spending time with his family. Drew is survived by his sons Kenneth and Christopher, and grandson Ryley. He is predeceased by his wife Joyce. Drew will be forever missed and those of us whose lives he touched will carry his memories forever. A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 2:00p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
