Obituary of Ram MINHAS

MINHAS – Ram Pyari August 29, 1930-Punjab, India May 30, 2013-Calgary, AB Ram Pyari Minhas passed away peacefully with family on May 30, 2013 at the age of 82 years following a tremendous life. Ram Pyari was loving, funny, determined, with a great sense of humor. Her greatest joy in her life was her enormous family and grandchildren. She was originally from Bham, District Hoshiarpur; Punjab and she married Gurbachan Singh Minhas. She is survived by 3 Sons- Pakhar Singh Minhas (Canada), Mohinder Singh Minhas (India), Davinder Singh Minhas (India), 1 Daughter -Mahinder Kaur (India) and 9 Grandchildren (India, Singapore, Australia and Canada). Ram Pyari would want all of her family and friends to remember the good years together and smile, rather than be sad that she is gone. She would want her beloved family and friends to stay close and to love one another as she has always. Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Sunday, June 02, 2013 at 2:30 pm. Kirtan will follow at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sikh Centre following the ceremony at 4:00 pm. A memorial service will take place for family and close friends at a later date in New Delhi, India.
