Margaret Armit passed away peacefully on August 30, 2011 at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered by Donald, Marilyn Gordon-Cooper (Alan), Douglas (Nancy), and Stephen (Nancy); grandchildren: Amber, Crystal, Sherry, Tara, Alan, Kristofor, Sarah, Kyle and Brent; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers Larry, Archer, George and sister Annie. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, John Eyre Armit; brothers Charles and Kenneth; and sisters Millie, Jessie and Mary.
Those wishing to pay their respects did so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Friday, September 2, 2011 starting at 12:00, followed by a Celebration of Margarets Life at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 14th Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 Telephone: (403) 264-5549.
