Obituary of Victor BENNY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Joseph Benny. Victor Benny was born in Garazzo Italy, on March 25, 1918, passed away at the Bethany Care Centre, Calgary Alberta on Thursday September 16, 2010. Victor was a man of kind spirit, generous heart and diligent work ethic. His greatest saying was Its a great life if we dont weaken. Victors passions were his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a gifted musician who could play any song by ear on his violin. Even though he has left us his family will fondly hear him singing Im looking for an Angel. Victor is with angels now just in time for one of his favorite hobbies; duck hunting, also a place where the golf season is eternal and the salmon fishing will be bountiful. Victor will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Ida and his best friend of fifty-five years; his children, Gail(Miguel) Abarca, Dana (Vicki), Mark (Sheri) and his five grandchildren, Melissa, Jaelyn, Tyler, Kelsey and Brieanne. At the familys request, there will be no Funeral or Memorial Service. The family wishes to thank the Staff at Memory Lane, Bethany Care centre for the compassionate care Victor received.
