Obituary of Alexander Stewart CAMERON

Alexander S. Cameron SR. of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Alexander was born January 25, 1919 in Montreal, Quebec. As a naval officer who served overseas in WWII, we lovingly nicknamed him our Commander in Chief. After thirty-six years with Bell Canada he retired to pursue his interest in golf, gardening, travelling and enjoyed long afternoon walks. After eighty years in Montreal, he uprooted to Calgary with Sheila, to be closer to his family. Alex is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Jim and Anna, Alex and Janet, and Bill and Sandra; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Christina. Alex was predeceased by his wife, Sheila, after fifty-seven years of marriage, his brothers Jim and Bill and his sister Beatrice.
