Obituary of Raymond (Ray) Charles CAUNT

Raymond (Ray) Caunt will forever be remembered as the love of her life by his wife Ann of 37 years, a devoted son to his mother Violet in England, a hero to his son Paul, a loving father-in-law to Armina, and a loyal & beloved friend to so many people. His passing on July 22, 2011 left a void in our hearts, and as unbearable as the sense of loss is, we are truly blessed to have shared his life for this brief moment in time. We will forever cherish the memories we made. His presence in our lives meant more to us than hell ever know. Originally from England, Ray came to Calgary in 1974 and shortly fell in love with a feisty red head and together they built a wonderful life and raised a son. He worked at Alberta Bank Note, Canadian Airlines, Spar, Avmax & Rona. An avid reader and golfer (when he got out of his Honey To Do List) he was a man of great wisdom, his strength of character, integrity and heart was as large as his toothy grin. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family both in Calgary and in England but someone as special as Ray will never be forgotten.
