Raymond Chudy, beloved husband of Inez Chudy of Calgary, passed away at the Agap Manor on August 4, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 72 years. Raymond was born on November 18, 1938 in the town of Outlook, Saskatchewan. He grew up in Outlook, attended school and earned his Journeymans ticket as an electrician. On May 7, 1960 he married Inez Riplinger. The family moved to Calgary in 1973. In addition to his loving wife, Raymond is survived by his children, daughters Gayle (Graeme), Cheryle (Mark) and grandchildren Rachel and Nicolas, Jackie and grandchildren Victoria, Benjamin and Mitchell; son Michael and grandchildren Tristen and Tyson. Raymond is also survived by his brother, David of Saskatoon. He was predeceased by his parents Rudolph and Victoria Chudy. Relatives and friends were invited to prayers at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 1566 Northmount Drive NW, on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Lukes Catholic Church on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. with Father David Meadows presiding.
