Elfie Cooke passed away peacefully in her sleep in the morning of February 26, 2011, at the ripe old age of 88.
Elfie is survived by her son, Vernon (Eileen), and her adored grandson Matthew (age five); sisters Millie and Edith (Svend); nephews Ralph (Monica) and Ron; niece Doris (Bruce); grand-nieces Adele and Camille and other relatives; friends and a bunny who calls her garden home. She was predeceased by her husband Keith and brother Siegfried.
A Memorial Service was held at Hope Lutheran Church (3527 Boulton Road N.W.) on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 1:30 p.m.
