John Deak of Calgary passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the age of 84 years. John is survived by his children: daughter Sigrid Deak, son John Deak, son Nick Deak and daughter Johanna Rose Deak as well as several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his former wife, Thora Deak (Nee Gudmundsdottir) A Private Family Graveside service will take place at Queens Park Cemetery at a later date.
