Joanne passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on March 5, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Joanne was born on November 5, 1934 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She had a distinguished career in nursing at the Calgary General Hospital.Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Shawn (Genevieve) and Jeff; daughter Alison (Darrin) Vigue; her grandchildren Chris, Shelby, Colin, Caitlin, Frances and Alexandra. She is also survived by her sisters Dianne and Rosilyn and her nieces and nephews. Joanne was predeceased by her sister Sharon; brothers David and Daryl and her parents Grace and David. She will be fondly remembered and missed by a wide circle of friends, family and colleagues.
