Obituary of Adrienne Annie FOGARTY

Adrienne Annie Fogarty passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Extendicare Cedars Villa, at the age of 93 years. Adrienne will be lovingly remembered for her joy of friendship, her love of nature, art and music. She enjoyed challenging the doctors, friends and family at a game of scrabble. Adrienne loved Mensa puzzles and all varieties of crossword puzzles, horses and wolves and a good mystery. Mom had a gentle loving spirit and touched the lives of many people. We will miss her warm loving hugs and her cheeky smile. Adrienne is survived by her beloved daughter Marlene Fitzgerald-Moore, beloved son Ron (Josey), and her loving grandchildren: Jason, Spencer, Pamela and Cindy. Adrienne was predeceased by her husband Paul, twin brother Carl, elder brother Hervie, and son-in-law Peter Fitzgerald-Moore. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 4718 Worcester Drive S.W., on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. There are not enough words to express our heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff at Extendicare Cedars Villa (Maple Unit) for their special care and attention to our mother for over three years. We would like to thank Dr. Lam, Bev, Susan, Liza, Ophelia, Lelane, Elaine, Kevin, Kathy, Martin, Misty, Neelam, Rohini, Zara, Sam, Ayida, Lauren, Zeina, Eddy, Sonia, Tashi, Jona, Layla, Robbie, Jara, Norma, Melissa and Rita.
