We are sad to announce the passing of Frederick E. Haldane of Calgary on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the age of 83 years. Grandpa passed away at Rockyview General Hospital in comfort and with great dignity. A man of rare integrity and family values, he will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children Lenora and Michael (Michelle); grandchildren Lucas, Jacob, Dylan, Amanda (Jason) and Christina (Adam); and great-grandchild Alexa. A private family scattering will be held at sea at a later date. We miss you Grandpa and we love you more than words can express. You are our only true hero.
