Eleanor Houston was born in Maple, Ontario on October 29, 1920 and passed away March 15, 2011 in Calgary. She was a home economics teacher who married Gordon Houston in 1950. They were a great team, in life and at the bridge table. Eleanor will be greatly missed by her children Marion and Jim Houston and by her many friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Interment at Eden Brook Cemetery, Calgary will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity. Her family extends their thanks to the staff of the Rocky View Hospital and Mayfair Care Centre for their excellent care and kindness.
