Obituary of Cecil ANDERSON

Cecil Anderson, beloved husband of Margaret Anderson of Kathyrn, AB, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the age of 94 years.
Cecil was born and raised on the family farm at Kathyrn, where he resided until shortly before his passing. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather as well as a devoted friend and neighbour. Cecil was very active in his community and was a life member of the Irricana Masonic Lodge #137 and Strathmore Chapter #21.
Cecil is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; son, Bob (Joyce) and their children, Raeanne, Jaclyn (Jason Gauthier) and Kai (Michelle), son, Donald (Lori) and their children, Blaire, Zane (Katrina) and Dale; daughter, Joan (Eric Fossay); great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Kaden and Tyson Gauthier and Micah Anderson; sister, Esther Williams; sisters-in-law, Edith Anderson and Pat Malcolm as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Olga Anderson and brother, Walter Anderson; brothers-in-law, Larry Williams and Tom Malcolm.
A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Queens Park Cemetery. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
